Thanks to the kit, children will get a basic overview of active volcanoes on our planet.

Using the atlas and worksheet, children place the volcano models on a large world map. For each volcano, they look for a volcanic cloud with the name and height of the volcanic peak.

Active volcanoes are those that have erupted within the last 10,000 years. There are approximately 1,500 such volcanoes in the world and about 50 erupt each year. A selection of 17 of the world's most famous volcanoes can be found in this set.

The set contains seventeen active volcanoes, 4 cm x 3.5 cm in size, seventeen volcanic plumes with the names of the volcanoes and their heights. You will also receive a worksheet and a checklist.
