The Queen of Maps is the Montessori World Map, our first and most popular map ever. Big, beautiful, original.
Designed by Maria Montessori, the hemispheres are shown centred on the Pacific Ocean. This allows children to discover interesting relationships and connections. The size and durability of the map allows for group work in the classroom and outdoors in nature.
The world map deliberately does not contain labels, showing the world in its pure form. It is suitable for telling Big Stories and for presenting a variety of key lessons. Younger children add flags, labels and pictures of animals to the map. School children make great use of the map for their own presentations.
Thanks to the large size and overall design of the map, children can work together and discuss their geographical discoveries with each other.
The dimensions of the map are 200 x 100 cm. It is really big!

We support local production. The wood we use is processed by a local company. Our product packaging is fully recyclable. We use only high quality, certified and environmentally friendly oils.
